You can watch your subscription on iPhone and iPad with an IPTV player app from the App Store — at home on Wi-Fi or on the go over 5G. With AirPlay, you can also send the picture to an Apple TV or an AirPlay-compatible TV.
Setup takes about five minutes. Here's how to do it and how to get the smoothest playback.
What you need
- An iPhone or iPad on a recent version of iOS or iPadOS
- An Apple ID for the App Store
- Wi-Fi or a good 5G/LTE signal
- Your login details from your activation message
Step-by-step setup
- 1
Update iOS or iPadOS
Open Settings → General → Software Update and install any updates so the player app runs smoothly.
- 2
Install a player app
Open the App Store, search for “IPTV player” and choose a well-reviewed app that supports Xtream Codes or M3U playlists. Read recent reviews to check it works well on your device.
- 3
Add your subscription
Your activation message contains everything you need: either an Xtream Codes login (server URL, username and password) or an M3U playlist link. Enter the details exactly as written — they are case-sensitive, and an extra space at the end is enough to cause a login error. Copy and paste from your activation message to avoid typing errors.
- 4
Explore channels and the guide
Browse categories, open the TV guide and mark favorites. On iPad, the larger screen shows the guide alongside the video in many apps.
- 5
AirPlay to your TV (optional)
Tap the AirPlay icon in the player or open Control Center → Screen Mirroring and choose your Apple TV or AirPlay-compatible TV. Both devices must be on the same Wi-Fi network.
Choosing a good player app
Check the login types
Make sure the app supports Xtream Codes logins, M3U playlists, or both. Xtream Codes usually loads the TV guide and categories automatically, so it is the easier option when available.
Read recent reviews
Look at reviews from the last few months and from people using the same kind of device. Apps change often, and an app that works well on phones may behave differently on tablets or TV boxes.
Look for a built-in TV guide and favorites
A good player shows the electronic program guide, lets you create favorites lists and remembers the last channel you watched. Our support team can suggest an app that works well with your subscription.
Tips for smooth playback
Prefer Wi-Fi for long sessions
HD streaming uses roughly 1–3 GB per hour. Use Wi-Fi at home, and check your cellular plan's data allowance before streaming on the go.
Close other video apps
Apps running video in the background compete for bandwidth. Swipe them closed from the app switcher.
Use landscape lock
Turn the device sideways and enable rotation lock in Control Center so the picture doesn't flip when you move.
Troubleshooting
The video freezes after a few seconds
Switch from cellular to Wi-Fi or move closer to your router. If you're on Wi-Fi, restart the router and the device.
AirPlay shows audio only
Some streams can't be sent with direct AirPlay. Use Screen Mirroring from Control Center instead.
Login error
Check capital letters and spaces, and make sure you selected the same login type as in your activation message.
Frequently asked questions
Does it work over cellular data?

Can I use an Apple TV instead?
Yes. Apple TV has its own App Store with player apps, and setup is the same as on iPhone.
Can my family watch on several iPhones at once?
Yes, up to the number of connections in your plan. Choose 2 or 3 connections if several people watch at the same time.
Don't have a subscription yet?
